OP, do yourself a favor and go to the Towing section of the forum, https://www.f150forum.com/f82, and READ. There are hundreds of posts discussing towing. The biggest issue with towing with an F-150 is not the engine, it's the PAYLOAD.

How about live and let live, or to each his own.. Some guys swear by the eco's, other guys love their V8's.. Why are some people so obsessed with the actions of others? Who cares what the next guy does, likes, or owns...

Just get the truck you like and stop comparring it to your neighbors. If you want the v8, get it. If you like the TT6, get it. Both have pros and cons. And both are meant to suit the individual driver.
