I average around 17 when just driving to work and back. Very short commute and a bit heavy footed.
This pic was when I filled up at Gatlinburg TN. driving from St. Louis.
2016 screw 4x4 2.7eco 3.55 rear. Ran 73mph most of the way. Some heavy traffic at Nashville and 80+ mph last 170 miles.
Sorry about the glare.

I'm also extremely impressed with my 2019 that I purchased about 6 weeks ago. I've had a 2011 3.5 with 3.31s, then a 2012 5.0 with 3.73s prior to this 2019 3.5L with 3.55's (all Supercrews)
So far I'm averaging 21.5MPG, and I averaged 27US MPG on a 600 mile road trip last week. I never saw numbers close to that with my previous 2 trucks, and I can only assume it is related new body style, 10spd transmission and some engine improvements. The 2011 and 2012s were very close on real world mileage for me, and I never saw better than 21US MPG on that same route with those vehicles. I'm extremely impressed, and really not sure how Ford has accomplished this level of difference between the 2011+ models and these new ones.
I've been away from the forums for a few years (unfortunately I was most active when I had my 2011 Ecoboost issues). I'm happy to say I had years of reliable driving with my 2012 5.0, and hopefully my 2019 3.5 EB gives me many years of reliability.

I have a 2015 F150 Supercrew 4x4 3.5EB 3.31 5.5 ft bed
I am impressed that I can get 18.4 mpg on a tank of gas with 91 (E0) over 575 miles.
Straight highway is can achieved 19.4 over 600 miles. Driving between 60-75 depending on the speed, as I travel 5 mph over the limit.
I am impressed because of the capability of this truck and the good gas mileage compared to previous trucks.
But I have always wanted a truck that can consistently get 20-23 mpg every tank. I don’t know why, but it is something I have wanted. It’s not about the money.
I have seen MANY people with the 10 speeds posting 20+ mpg reports. Is it helping that much? A 10-20% improvement? Compared to your previous trucks? How far off is the LOM?
I like reading these reports but many I can’t tell which engine, rear end, 2 or 4wd, reg cab vs Supercrew, etc.
Thanks.

2018 5.0 RWD Supercab with 3.55. I got just over 22mpg last Sat driving from Newnan south of Atlanta to destination north of Town. Mostly 65-75 with some traffic in spots. 93 octane gas. Mileage hand calculated. Very impressed with this truck.

I was disappointed at the highway mileage at 85+ (I live in TX ) with regular fuel at 15.5 MPG. Had to switch to premium due to annoying and embarrassing pinging/knocking (with Chevron and Shell fuel), since it was going to be cheaper than trading the truck (no TSBs that apply to my truck). To my surprise, got 18.0 MPG at 85/90 and even a few miles at the limiter with premium, and no more pinging/knocking, so a pleasant surprise. The difference in mileage is the same as the difference in fuel prices, so basically a wash (use the truck mostly for trips), so a happy camper now. Oh, and it has a lot more power too, so not a bad mileage for a freaking monster with the aerodynamics of a brick. Ha ha.

Not really to be honest, I've been tracking since the dealer fuel fillup ran out. Best is around 21 and I was probably babying it on the highway. My commute now is around 90% highway and the last few tanks have been 18.0-18.4 I don't go faster than 65 usually and I'm not flooring it. Granted its a crew cab 4X4 with tow gears, but still.

I’m fairly impressed with mine, really. It’s a 5k+ Lb. 4x4 crew cab full-size pickup, with a (tuned)400+ HP V8 that runs 13.50s at over 100 MPH, and still is capable of 18-20 MPG when I’m trying to do so.
