Anyone else seriously impressed with their mileage?

In my case, a 157”wb Lariat that’s averaged 21.7mpg (very accurate corrected lie-o-meter) over 49,000 miles. Yes, I’m impressed.

Impressed, and quite frankly, amazed. Averaging over 24 for the summer so far, with mixed driving (excluding towing miles). Given everything else this truck is capable of, I'm thrilled with that.

I will say I am impressed even with “just” the 6-speed in this 2016 2.7... over the 5300+ miles I’ve owned it, it’s at 21.1 MPG calculated (I’ve also corrected the LOM per one of the threads on this site). The truck is a tick over 67K miles. Running 87.
I can only imagine better yet with the 10-speed and any other engine updates since 2016.

I have a 2019 F150 5.0V8 with 3.55’s in the rear.
With 3 kayaks in the back, ascending 1,350ft over the course of 87 miles, I averaged 22.5mpg on the LOM - or so I thought it lied!
I filled the tank on the way out of town, and when I got to my destination (Old Forge, NY) I only put 3.86 gallons of gas in. Both times I let the handle shut off the pump.
I’m in disbelief and thrilled with this truck. If anyone knows this drive, they know it’s full of hills.
I don’t know whether to blame it on the fact that I waxed it the night before or if it really does just get this good of mileage.

I stated I thought it was bull**** so I also hand calculated it...almost the same - upwards of 24 mpg.
A strong head wind of course will decrease this mpg but in general its extremely good.
Those who get 12 mpg of course jump in and cry foul...oh well...it doesn't impact my mpg

I’m very impressed with my mileage. It’s not as good as most of you guys, but for a truck....it’s great. Besides a Z28 I had in the 90’s and a late 80’s Mazda B2000, this is the most fuel efficient vehicle I’ve owned.

Hold my beer
I've been largely disappointed in my 18 5.0. I've never seen anything better than 17''s highway in eco mode @ 75 mph. My Silverado set the MPG bar high for me coming in at 21.5 mpg consistently. I also had the oil consumption issue, so maybe that played a role. I'll be curious to see if it improves once I get my truck back.

Nope. I hand calculate mine and I'm getting around 14. 18 5.0 with 3.73's. I took a long trip two weeks ago and got it up around 20 on the trip computer for a bit but I was cruising at 70-75 on the highway. I found my trip meter is usually off by 1-2 mpg.
Most of my driving is short trips, under 5 miles. I also have a heavy foot to hear my pricey exhaust.
