Default gen2 3.5eco 22MPG

we recently drove from CT to VA with minimal traffic. I used (active) cruise control a lot set at about 75mph though I did go faster to pass and slower in some pockets of traffic. my 2018 F150 Limited with gen 2 3.5eco and 3.18 gearing got 22MPG per the computer though I never verified it by filling the tank back up.

I only have 700 miles on my 2019 EB 3.5. My mileage is similar. I live at 3300 ft and town elevation is 2400 so the daily elevation change is part of the problem but I was getting just as good mileage with my prior 2006 Chevy diesel Duramax. Climbing the hill home from town the mileage is crummy even when driving in grandpa mode. Hoping things will improve with additional break-in miles.

seriously, you drove a total of of 15.8 miles, and you expect that 23.2 is going to be a REALISTIC over time MPG.

Snap another shot when you get to the end of that tank (401 estimated miles) and THEN post the same snapshot. Guarantee its down about 5-6 mpg! :-\

Here's a couple more for you...

This is the last month or so average, no towing, mixed driving, mostly 2-lane 50-60mph.

This is a towing trip from this weekend, took my Kubota down to the camp for some mowing & trail maintenance. Didn't need the full arsenal of gear, so it was just tractor (FEL removed), rear mower, and some gear...total trailer weight about 4K (20' tandem flatbed) Mostly highway, 60-70mph, then hilly 2-lane in SE Ohio. Really hard to complain about 19mpg towing!

Default Not impressed with my mileage

I have a 2013 King Ranch SuperCrew with 3.5 EcoBoost and 3.31 rear end. Best mileage I've gotten so far is 17.6 on a trip from Lexington, TN to Washington, DC. Just the two of us and a little luggage. I'm a pretty conservative driver...always run the speed limit. It does beat my previous truck, a 2001 Lariat SuperCrew with Triton V8.

Default Normal Summertime MPG

I'm the odd one out but have noted before, I drive for mgp. Here is my shot over last two weeks of commuting to work and one trip up north. Commute is 42 miles on a mix of hwy, blvd and mainstreets. Actual mileage will be about 1 - 1.2mpg less than shown based on fuelly tracking over first two years of ownership.

19.9mpg, 74mph cruise, mostly highway through 11 states: Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Ohio, Kentucky. Toured up the eastern seaboard, then across towards Erie after hitting Mt. Washington. The drive from Mt. Washington to Syracuse was mostly 2-lane and hilly, put in in manual and spent most of the time in 5th, surprised that didn't tank the mileage. Mileage averaged lowest driving through eastern Ky on 71, which is odd. Didn't bother looking at the Mt. Washington climb, which was almost entirely in 1st, but it's part of the average.

I just finished a trip from St. Louis, to Omaha... 870 Miles... Cruise set at 77mph the majority of the trip. According to Trip Computer I got 19.2mpg.

Not super.. but not bad for a 4x4 full size truck.
