Anyone else getting shocked?
Twice now we have had some cold weather for us(FL), in the 40/50's. Almost without fail when I get out of the truck I will get a zap when I close the door. I chalked it up to the weather last week when we had a cold snap, now this week again, zap every time.
I've tried this over and over, even so much as unlock doors, get and shut door, get back out and zap!.

That's an electrifying development ! It has the potential to become a disaster at an active gasoline pump. I'd bring up this current issue with the dealer and see how they conduct themselves. Their response should be illuminating.
Please keep us enlightened.
Cheers!

yup with every car or truck I have ever owned. Static electricity because it is so dry out in the winter. Watch out at gas stations. I grab the door while sitting in the seat some time this works sometimes it don't.

Static electricity. Happens here alot in the winter when the air is dry and cold.
A quick google search suggests rubbing your upholstery with a dryer sheet, using an antistatic spray on your carpet, switching from synthetic clothing (polyester, nylon) to natural fibers (cotton) and/or wearing leather soled shoes as opposed to rubber soled.

ok, that's a solid idea except there is another car in the driveway and it does not happen...at all. I just went in and out of her car, nothing at all. In mine and out and ZAP!
