Anyone else get accused of spilling gas at the gas pump?, went in to pay for gas last night and pick up a couple Dews (working overnights) and the guy behind the counter asked me if I spilt gas, I asked why and he said "that's a lot of gas" told him it had a 36 Gal tank and he left me alone. That's why I usually fill at 1/2 tank.

I also pay at the pump but the person waiting behind me at Costco always gets impatient waiting so long lol Always fill at Costco, 59 cents a liter right now (about $1.58 US / Gallon)

I fill whenever I want and at $1.45/gallon, I've been spraying a couple gallons around on the ground just because I can.

Depends on where you go too, some gas station pumps move quick as hell but others are super slow, feels like I could take a nap or watch a tv show while I wait.

lol that's funny, I have an f250 6.7. I have replaced the stock tank 25 gallon tank with a transfer flow 50 gallon tank. I've never been accused of spilling fuel but when diesel was $4 a gallon I have to swipe my card twice just to fill up from empty. it would suck for the people waiting behind me if the station was busy and the other pump were full.

Yeah, I figure that at least I'm not back in the day when I couldn't fill my diesel F250 up all the way because it was $5/gallon and the pump wouldn't let me pump more than $100 at a time.

They should be happy they aren't behind me filling up my 36' RV's 75 gallon tank.

Yeah, that used to be a problem for me when gas was expensive and there was a limit to how much $ of gas you could get at the pump. So options were gas it up TWICE, or go inside and pay.
