$70k truck without a low windshield washer fluid warning system! Wtf?
'15 Lariat 502a

I guess I have to spend more time every morning doing a daily inspection, like I do on heavy equipment and vehicles at work.

I love these kind of posts.

I just bought a brand new ___________. Can you believe it doesn't have ______________ option? This is unacceptable.

Usually the person is referring to something ridiculous like a heated glovebox or in this case a light to tell them when they are out of washer fluid.

I feel your pain buddy. I gotta ask though. If this is so important to you, why didn't you make sure the truck had it before you bought it? And what makes you think this "problem" is worthy of a thread? Trust me you are not the first to do this and I doubt you will be the last. Make sure and bring cheese next time.

i know jeez, with all the warning systems like "blind spot", they should also have a warning pop up when a dumbass is in front or around you

This is epically frustrating because of all the advance systems like BLIS the the truck comes with....but no washer fluid warning. Maybe I'm asking to too much, as this is my first Ford, I'm used to my Audi and VW, but even growing up, our family caravan had low washer warning. Ppl from the show belt will appreciate my frustration.

Don't know any reason that you need to "inspect" for low washer fluid every day. System holds a lot - I top the tank off MONTHLY.

This is nothing new, not been a warning light for years.

I am in the snow belt and never needed one before. I check it when I fill up with gas along with the oil. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee with it in it and all it did was p--- me off because the sensor was broke and I had an idiot light on and a constant beep for no reason.

I hate all these nanny things drives the cost up for no value added. My two bits

I believe RAM trucks have had this option for years, I check my washer fluid level in the Winter fairly often (usually when filling up) to make sure its full. I've got the extended range fuel tank so I do have some time to check while I wait.

I assumed that a $70k made in 2015 would have something that our $40k family minivan had back in 2001. Even my $30k '13 Passat has it. I would much prefer low washer warning vice "auto high beam". It's just blows my mind that, such a hi tech truck with so many bells and whistles doesn't have something simple as low washer warning. It's not a big deal, just surprising for a $70k truck.

Oh man, thread is about to light up, lol.

LEDs on all lariats and up is reasonable IMO, memory seats, some kind of upgraded audio system in between the Sony and the base model (kind of like the 2015 mustangs, base base audio, the Shaker 1000 9 speaker in the 400a packages vs the 12 speaker Shaker 1200 with sub in the 401A. Maybe some in between a.

But I don't know if I'm too concerned with a low windshield washer fluid warning indicator :-/

And idk, where I live I wish my 501A lariat I put raptor retrofit lights in had the auto high beam feature. I'd sacrifice a couple other options for that.
