Default anyone else come across this?

17 3.5 EB 4X4. when I start it with the key I notice a slight movment in the truck. Almost like its in gear but goes up against the parking pin. Its slight but enough to feel when it happens.been doing it for a while, been using remote and ofcoarse dont notice it then. Ideas,thoughts or fixes?

List of warrenty work to date-
Fog light lens
4x4 system check valve
Steering rack
Then tsb stuff like trans roll pin, door handle sealing, b pillar insulation

Unless the parking pawl is severely worn which is highly unlikely maybe the pawl isn't fully engaging the teeth. Try parking and shutting it off, then get out and roll the truck forward and back to make sure the pawl drops down. Then start it and see if it still moves.

ill give it a go and see. if it does lock in after that is there a concern of running it this way?

I had a car that seemed to do that but i didn't think it was serious enough to investigate further. I actually can't recall the car it was because i never had any trans problems with it.
