Anyone in DFW wanna hit up an offroad park this Sunday?
Trying to get a small group together to go to Bridgeport this Sunday, to Northwest OHV park. They have some decent trails for all levels of drivers and trucks. A lot more if we had Jeep's, some are too skinny to go in with our wide trucks, but there are plenty of places to go.
Thinking of getting there around 10 AM. It will be muddy, rain Saturday from the looks of it! They have some rock trails, mud, and hills. They also have a pavilion, nice spot to eat lunch, weather permitting. We went with 5 of us last Saturday, plenty of families go, so bring the kids! You have to have an OHV sticker (good for a year (Aug to Aug) sold there for $20, usable in any OHV park all over the states)), and a $25 admission fee. Here is alink to the website https://www.cityofbridgeport.net/322/Northwest-OHV-Park https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...f300fd5122.jpg Last Sunday, place was fairly dried out, but still have some mud! |
I bet you get some weird looks out there wheeling your truck lol. I love Bridgeport, only go in jeeps.

I'd go with but I live in Wisconsin.:icon_cry: I'd love to try out my wife's jeep even though it's 100% stock. The little snow bank in the second pic is the largest obstacle it has ever faced.

I bet if you slapped some KO2's or similar, you'd be ready to hit all sorts of stuff at an off road park! A couple months ago several friends went out, one in a Jeep Cherokee with stock tires, and he made it thru all sorts of stuff. Had top go back and forth in a mud pit one time to get out, but made it after about 4 or 5 tries. |
I looked into different rims and tires, but my wife wants me to leave it as is. It is hers, after all.:whistling2:
As far as driving it to Texas.....I don't think so! I like it, but if I drove it that far I'd be ready to kill somebody by the time I got there.;) |
I might be down to go and play, how many you got so far that are going?

As soon as I get rid of my factory tires, I plan on hitting up Bridgeport. But budget won't allow that for a while. Friend goes out there in his Tacoma and has a ton of fun.

Interested but how hard of a time would I have with stock Michelin Primacy XCs?
