Could you guys post APIM and ACM code for Sync 2? (to enable HD radio) I can't seem to find it. (I already have the receiver installed)

Hi TexasFording. I found this online.

Other than the cost what's your take on going this route? I'm not sure about forscan and doing the changes.

I like the ease of that. $400 seems a bit steep though. Anyone gonna try it?

This would definitly be the eziest way to go. No prgramming, just pull old and install new, plug in obd2 adapter, and now you have hd radio. Wonder if this would effect those with oem nav and sirius travel link on Sync 3?

Might be better to ask Livinitup, in the Forscan Sticky Thread...

Sorry I am digging up old post but I just bought a 2015 Lariat because my 2013 Lariat was totaled. I had HD radio & Sony System and miss them both. Looking at the link above the HD receiver says it fits 2013 & up F150's if thats the case I would think I could buy a HD receiver out of a 2013 and just enable the HD in the APIM with MFT and have HD radio in my 2015 F150 Lariat. Can anyone confirm this? If so HD receivers for 13 models can be purchased for less than $100 used. Also wonder if this unit would work with Sync 3 if so that would be great.

That's odd that you have a Lariat without HD/Sirius. Regardless, I wouldn't buy a HD/Sirius ACM out of anything older than a 2015. The chimes are routed through the ACM in all packages of 2015+ trucks among a few other little issues. If you get an older ACM, you'll likely have issues. I helped a guy on here with his 2017 XL. He got an older ACM and no matter how much tweaking with Forscan, we never got it working right. Once he got a 2015 ACM, it was a 10 minute swap.
