Yes the bickering gets old. The forum police are overstaffed and work overtime sometimes on this forum (and I don't mean moderators). You asked a stupid question, you forgot to search, you searched and responded to an old thread, you forgot to quote.
Or the persistent safety police that won't let it go until all posters acknowledge that their point about safety trumps all conversations.
Lately it has been arguing with everyone that gets rear ended either about their driving or their statements of the crash.
I'll add continuing to post to years old posts as my offence here before someone points it out.
I have a Focus that has the push button. It's not that I mind using a key, it is just that I feel like a bumbling idiot when I pull on the door expecting it to open. Then as if I can't remember the event 5 seconds ago, get in and stare at the dash looking for the button. Finally I realize my mistake and dig out the key ... again.
I know Ford has their packages with sizable increases in price. What I don't think they realize is how much money some of these upgrades could be worth after purchase. We would all complain (and then bicker of course) if it was a $1000 for push button and intelligent access as an upgrade, but many would foot the bill. Same story for fancy mirrors. I can even see a $5k upgrade to 4A. Ford could cash in and still hold the line on their Lariat and up pricing.
