Wink Anybody out there with 3.5 Naturally Aspirated

Eco boost, turbo, 5.0 HEY! Anybody drive a naturally aspirated 3.5? I know it sounds boring but does it sound reliable and dependable? Anybody happy with their 3.5 non turbo? I am.

Staring 2018 (I think) they went to 3.3 liter. Before that it was 3.5.

And to answer your question ... Yes they are dependable but no I dont have one 2.7eco for me.

I have a 3.3 non-turbo and am extremely happy with it. Would not buy turbo ever. As KWS 2.7 stated, starting in 2018 the 3.3 NA replaced the 3.5 NA

Never say never...the way things are going you might not have a choice. Like the auto start\stop system.

I have a 3.7 in my 2013 and it runs great. Bit of a gas hog though...but no turbo or fancy valvetrain problems to worry about.

I love mine (2015). Plenty of power in there, and does great on the highway. My last truck was a super charged V8, so I was a little hesitant to go with the NA six banger. Now that I’ve had it a while, it more than satisfies my needs. It’s been trouble-free and super reliable.

We run the 3.5 NA in our Ford Explorers at work. They are quite peppy. That's all I know about them.
