Any law for length of time in shop?

I told them the tounge weight of the trailer. This tundra has 1450lbs of payload. I'll be a little overloaded but shouldn't be a surprise to them. I told them exactly what I was pulling

I know what you mean about missing camping trips. After one trip with the 2016, it was a handful and it was not the setup, but the steering on the truck, so yeah, missed an entire summer last year. I prevailed though, sued Ford, won enough to pay off the negative equity and replaced it with a 2018, and I am happier, much happier, with the replacement, It tows beautifully, it handles beautifully. It's my Precious!
Since we know nothing about your truck, how old or how many miles, based on assuming it is fairly new and under the limit for miles, call them for the buyback. You certainly qualify for Lemon Law if over 30 days in the shop. Ford would much rather buy it back and be able to sell it to some other unsuspecting former customer, than to have it flagged as a lemon and then have to try to get rid of it.

The standard is the amount of time it takes a lemon to grow.

There is one guy at the dealership that can do the "big stuff" so that's why I'm told it's taking so long

It's a 2017 with 33k miles. Is that too old or too many miles to get them to do anything?

According to the other poster it is too late for the LL/buyback with 33K miles, BUT since still under the 36K warranty, you might be able to get the BBB to step in. At this point the best method is to contact an attorney. First though, it doesn't hurt to try calling ford and requesting a buyback. Truck is still 2 years old, if that. Check the build date, anything after 4/17 is under 2 years.

Buyback programs are the way manufactures avoid Lemon Law claims. Lemon Law losses end up costing them more and having it noted on the title.
I had a BMW bought back in TX. Once you are in the Lemon Law guidelines, they'll do a buyback pretty quickly after you put some pressure on them.

That tundra is a beast! The thing tows my trailer on rails. Not as much power but definitely enough and doesn't feel all that must less than my 3.5.
Not a wiggle. Easy one handed driving

Ok, thanks! Might just do that. This is getting ridiculous. I've owned many diff manufacturers and this is my first and probably last Ford. I didn't buy a truck for it to stay in the shop.
Friends and family are definitely going to stay away from Ford from here on out as well.
Missing camping trips is where I am starting to lose it.
