Any buyers remorse with their XLT?

My Grand Cherokee has heated and truly cooled seats as well as heated steering wheel. Those items I would like.

I don’t regret getting a ‘16 XLT, mine is the 302A is so it’s a fully loaded one. The only thing I do regret is not getting 4x4 although mine has an e-locker but well see how that works out when I get stuck.

I had my XLT for nearly 10 years and thought it was a pretty darn nice vehicle--for a truck or car! When I bought my new '18, I looked at what the options cost for another XLT and ended up with the XL that was nicely optioned for $36K. I'm still mentally competent enough to manually turn my heat up if I'm cold or down if I'm hot. The stereo sounds great. I can read the 4" screen just fine. The seats are comfortable even though I have to reach down and grab the bar to move the seat. I don't have a moon roof, so I'll never know the heartbreak of a leaky roof. The rubber mats are actually just as sound-proof as the carpet in my old truck and I haven't once worried about my muddy boots. The one item I wish my truck had is the key pad for door access, and I can add that easily myself.

Like most people on here I assume, I began looking at a Lariat. Best I was able to do with my PCO, other rebates, included was $4500 which in the Boston area still would bring my OTD to around 50k.
I have to exercise some financial responsibility and not buy a Lariat. I will miss some things like push button start, leather seats, the larger odometer screen, etc. I'm sure I can add all these things aftermarket at a later date.
I guess my question is does anyone who have owned their XLT for a few years now wish they went Lariat instead? I found a few nice optioned XLT (including blis/sensing) end of the year 2018 that I'm sure I can get a decent deal in.

and ran the numbers over and over and couldn’t justify spending the extra $ at this point in my life. Ended up ordering a 18 XLT with everything I wanted and nothing I didn’t for -37 before TTL I am north of Boston and went to Kelly. They were pretty good to work with.

Picked up a new 2017 XLT Screw over a year and alf ago. I've loved it everyday. I was originally looking at a Lariat, but for me, no way in hell were the extra doo-dads worth another $12K to me. Mine has the 302A package and FX4. Has everything I wanted. But that being said all the after market stuff I've put in since then is another story!
