I'm pretty sure that's one of the Rivian test-mules using an F-150 body shell.

And the Rivians do appear to be XL models, as seen here:

Possibly an independent rear suspension option in place of the solid axle. Hopefully they put it as an option on a higher trim truck that won't tow much. Would be a shame to have an HDPP truck with an IRS!!!

hell hold my x box control while I get me another beer.
I can have both.
meanwhile - there might be some more interior tweaks and tryouts for the 2021 rework. but nothing major. FOr 2021 though expect to see another size larger productivity screen for the upspec sync model - and a larger base model version too. I have also heard rumors of new seat designs that are a bit lighter and possibility making the f150 a bit smaller overall envelope too. (think shorter roof line, slightly narrower, touch shorter - same capacities) MIght not have side mirrors. the hybrid drive thing is the biggest update.
Oh that and the ecoboost V8 for the lightning option package. (sorry had to do it)
I'm really looking forward to the hybrid drive model and what the decide to do. the idea of a electric battery for worksite use is impressive to me. I could see some use to that. I mean forget your other battery operated too - which are huge these days. but now you could run higher demand tools that are corded - right off your truck. NO generators to worry with.
