Default Another tire fitment question

Anyone here try to run a 35x12.50r18 tire on a 2015 F150 with stock wheels and just a 2.5 inch leveling kit on the front? Or is this too much tire for that amount of lift? There will be no off-road driving with this combo just driving back the rutted road to get to my hunting camp.

Will a 12 1/2 fit on a stock 18 rim? Seems too wide maybe?

why not ? are stock 18’s 7.5” or 8.5” wide ? either should be fine. I’m pretty sure he was more concerned with the fitment of the tire to truck with the level.

The stock rim should be plenty wide enough for a 12.50 width tire. Back in the day we would run 15x38 Gumbo Mudders on 8 inch wide wheels sometime. In my experience they would clean the mud better than if they were mounted on a 10 inch wide wheel. Man that was a long time ago.

Thanks. Didn't know that, so I asked.
