Another New Ride

The funny thing is we were never a "Ford" family to begin with. She had all sorts of different vehicles previously and originally wanted to upgrade to a Tahoe, and I liked them as well however we couldnt justify the price of them verse what we could get in the Explorer. Granted the Tahoe is a little bigger, but it just didnt match up on paper.
I also work for a company that has access to a lot of new Ford, GM, and Dodge vehicles. I was able to basically drive lots of vehicles, and time and time again I kept finding myself liking the Fords.
We got her the Explorer and I was super jealous. I have an 02 BMW M3 which I love, but I wanted some more modern amenities and reliability, and it was time to stop putting so many miles on the m3. So I got a F150 EcoBoost. We love our Fords and most of my Chevy/Dodge friends are looking this way too.

Wow I thought my wife and I were the only crazies out there. Two days after I bought my truck my wife got herself a 2015 explorer xlt, black. Although we talk about it all the time how dumb we were to both get new vehicles at the same time!

Same here. October we bought a 2016 Explorer XLT for her loaded to the max black on black with chrome 20's. Then I got the itch and I just ordered a 2016 F150 XLT supercrew magnetic with the sport appearance package and max tow and 3.5 ecoboost. I couldn't get a lariat due to the money we spent on the Explorer but got nav at least lol. I can't wait til it rolls in at the dealer!!! Seems like the Explorer/F150 combo is the way to go!!

We aren't very brand conscious. The F-150 replaced a 2000 Expedition Eddie Bauer. The 3.5 EB is just amazing. We looked at all brands prior to the Expedition purchase and again before the current truck purchase. The car is a Infinity G3.7X and we did a lot of research and test drives before settling on it. Current street bike is a Honda ST1300. Not going to go into dirt equipment. We have a RAV4, Neon, 92 F150, Isuzu truck. Geez the list keeps going. Anyway, this Platinum SCrew, max tow is an amazing vehicle. Wicked fast and very well mannered in corners for a truck. Just don't get to travel in it enough. Darn work keeps hindering us.
