I believe what you are talking about is in the A pillar area of the truck, the B pillar area is right near your headrest, where your seatbelts are in between the front and rear doors. But none the less, rattles/noises are irritating, especially a quiet vehicle. Lol

Exactly, that's what was so strange about it as I was sure it was coming from the seat belt where it mounts by the B pillar/head rest. In fact I didn't figure it out, the wife did.

I noticed a similar noise as the OP near my head on a recent 1,160 mile road trip. It only happened during a short section of rough highway between north Georgia and North Carolina. The temperature was about 26°F which was the coldest temperatures we experienced. I’m in central Florida and we never see temperatures that low. Been on bumpy roads in warmer temperatures before and never heard the noise. I noticed that I was able to make the noise go away if I firmly pressed out on the door while driving. Seems like tightening up the door latch would fix the problem, but it doesn’t appear to be adjustable. 6,300 + miles on the truck and only about 38 miles making the noise I can live with. Hope it doesn’t loosen up and start happening regularly.

I’m pretty sure you’re hearing the door/weatherstripping. My 2017 Platinum does it and it’s about to drive me nuts. My moonroof has started to rattle in the cold as well. The 2000 Toyota Tundra I sold for this truck had 200,000 more miles but not nearly as many shakes/rattles....

I just bought a 17 platinum and its doing the same thing. Its for sure the weather strip because when I push out and give it some pressure it goes away. I hope its just because its so cold...

Default B Pillar Noise

I had also posted this information on Facebook. I belong to a group called 13th Generation F150's. Everyone who has this issue as far back as 15, have taken their trucks to the dealer and the dealer resolved the issue within fifteen minutes at no charge according all the posters on this page. It must be something that they are aware of and will resolve if made aware of it. I am scheduling an Oil change next week and the Parts mgr is friend. I will update this thread when I hear what it may be.

Sounds a little like a drink can rocking back and forth in a cup holder. I wear frickn hearing aids and hear it...worse yet is direction. Mine seems to be in same area. I could never determine for sure if it was from bumps or cab flex. I wasn’t really hitting bumps sometimes when it occurred. Left side. Ok. Open your back door - or affected door and with palm of your hand push on the cab weatherstripping moving up and down slowly between each push. Push against it like the door is sealing and pushing against it from the outside. I simulated the noise just now pushing on the weatherstripping sealing to the plastic corner panel with seat belt retractor in it. I pulled forward toward front of truck on weatherstripping and pulled it out like pic below. Pushed it back on and seated it in place....noise gone. Damfino... I’ll know tomorrow.

I was pushing inward on weatherstripping somewhere between center seam of seat and top of seat

Pulled weatherstripping away and put back
