AMP installation questions
Hey guys
Im looking to jump on this amp:
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_500KTP...l?cc=07&tp=115
I really really really dont want to run a power wire through the firewall. anyone else installed an amp and figured a way around this. ( pre existing power maybe for head unit?) Its not a sub amp so its not drawing a TON of power right? Kinda a noob at audio stuff. Wired a fews subs back in my highschool days.

You may be able to find a switched 12v somewhere but it may not have the right size fuse, etc. Just curious why you don't want to run a dedicated power wire from the battery? I ran a 4 gage wire from the battery to the back wall of my super crew in about an hour.

I didn't want to have to gut the grommet between the firewall. Dont it a few times on other cars and was seeing if there was a way around :/

So i noted it says this: Note: The factory radio circuit needs to be a minimum of 15A. If it is not, a separate power and ground will need to be installed for the KTP-445U.
Does anyone know or know where to find what the factory radio circuit is for the f150 18 radio?

behind the radio .. looking at that you will need the FOR-11CK if you don't want to cut the factory wiring harness

I would guess the fuse location in yours is no different than mine. With that in mind, the fuse is located at the passenger side footwell trim panel and the fuse (#33) for the 'radio' is a 20a fuse.
