Looking for thoughts & experiences on Livernois Tuning Products for a 2015, 3.5EB
I am trying to figure out if it's worth the coin to buy a Livernois tuning product for my new F150. I'm hoping that they will run a Labor Day special or something along those lines (maybe even offer a group buy discount).
I've always modified vehicles for performance and promised myself that I wouldn't do that with the new truck, but here I am...
Can anyone tell me their thoughts of modifying/flashing a 2015 3.5 EB F150. I'm particularly looking for people that have this mod installed on their new truck and am interested their opinion of it.
And yes... I have searched and read several threads, but am trying to see how many people actually have done this mod to a 2015 and would they recommend it (and why).
Thanks!

My thoughts?
The trucks and tunes are new and somewhat unproven also the truck is still on warranty. I will wait for warranty to expire and have a larger selection of tunes and parts as well as reliability data.
Good luck to those early adopters who forge my way with their success and failures!!
From what I hear livernois is the best on the market right now.

Neffster - I'm using Livernois tuner and tunes on my 2015 EB. I have the 89 tow send performance and 91 stage 3 tow and performance. The latest v5 of the 91 perf tune is fantastic. Night and day difference from stock, especially with 35-12.5 tires and lift. They by far have the most experience tuning ecoboost engines on trucks and cars. They have several 2015 trucks that they've been doing the Dyno tuning on. Responsive company, will usually get back to you through email within 24-48 hours with new tune requests which are free for life. I use mostly the 91 tow and performance tunes.
Tow: more boost at low end but max of 10-12 psi, softer transmission shifts strength. Perf: boost comes in a little later, but 18psi or so, very crisp firm shifts in lower gears. Truck leaps forward in 1-2 shift (in sport mode). Gets a little bit better mileage than tow tune.
Software upgrades to tuner firmware and new tune files have gone without a glitch, except when they used the wrong strategy on a file and the tuner would not allow truck to be programmed. Easily resolved with new files.
Tuner holds stock file and 4 others of your choice. Time to tune between files takes about 7 minutes.
If you have a different tire size you will need to buy the Hypertech tuner as the BCM now programs tire size not the PCM.
You can't data log, but frankly didn't have time to mess with that and dince they've dialed in their tunes on a Dyno on the same EB engine, you don't need to go back and forth with datalogs to get it right.
IMO, best set up and results out there, and done safely.
Hope this helps

Livernois is an excellent tuner. I had great service from them on my 2011 Taurus SHO. Tune was amazing too.
With their experience tuning the 3.5 Ecoboost I would give them my money again without hesitation.

What concerns me is that with the 'canned' tuning, they won't know my specific vehicles A/F ratios, how rich/lean I'm running and with turbo'd applications and different ambient temperatures, altitudes, etc... I'm just a little nervous about not having a dyno tuned setup specifically for my truck, especially without the ability to data log and then optimize the tune from afar.
The real purpose of the initial post was to see if there were tens or hundreds of people that have 2015 3.5L EB engines tuned and how many miles they've had the software installed. It looks like the numbers are rather low and I don't want to be a pioneer in this area.
My initial thought was that there were likely hundreds of people running this tune with many miles, but that doesn't appear to be the case at this time.

You are also looking at a very narrow view of ownership that posts on these forums. Hell, look back over previous model years too in order to see how many people (on the forums) have tuned their truck.
I have probably 8k miles on my 93 Tow tuned 2015 from Livernois and it has been fantastic

next to getting a custom tune by a local shop ( and there's no guarantee there either) they're one of the best in th biz for 'boost motors
