For those that can't see the waves and distortions, they are there. This isn't an aluminum body thing. Distortion under door handle, under mirror, and in the bed side around the fuel door.

It's all normal, they all (f150, 250, 350) have it and have for years. If you can't see the waves in your truck, great but that doesn't mean they aren't there. Have someone with a trained eye walk around your truck for 3 minutes and point everything out. You will pee your pants.

Same in the back door for the reflection of the curb. I see that as wavy, not straight.
The white one that I saw was, admitedly worse than your pics.

What I see on my truck anyway are slight indentations around door handles and from some angles where the top of the bed comes down to the 1st crease. But do I see a truck that should have never been accepted with bondo type body work? absolutely not. I don't feel like I "settled". I'm very satisfied with the workmanship; perfect, no satisfied, yes.

What I notice about the 2015 sheet metal is that when I slam a door, the entire doors and a good part of the truck bed no longer ripple and shake like it's a Lada with the world's thinnest sheet metal.

I'll give you that. The doors on the new ones close with a satisfying and solid CLUNK!
I think with the move to aluminum, that sound and feeling for the doors was a definite priority for Ford!
