Sorry but that is bs. 1/2 tons are the big 3's livelihood and they'd probably all three be out of business without them. I read an article a few months back that said Ford's margins on high trim level trucks lariat and up are as high as 30%.

It is easier to navigate life when you adhere to such low standards. It's kinda sad though.

I haven't seen any waves or imperfections as you guys stated. I think you guys are seriously making things up.
If you don't like the truck then don't buy it. Show me a perfect 10 and I'll quickly point out something wrong with it.

saw this thread earlier so on the way home I stopped and looked at a black one at a dealer. I looked all up and down both sides and I don't see anything that looks bad.

There were quite sizeable indentations where the door handle surrounds had been pressed into the doors.
Have there been any complaints as to the pressing or tooling of the new panels being a little weird?
I was really surprised when I saw the above, and thought to myself, if that had been my truck I would not have even accepted delivery of it!
look at your truck..you have the same ripples around the opening for the door handles and by the belt line

Previous Gen of what? Previous Gen of F150 was steel.

I saw what I saw, and if my steel 2014 looked as bad, I'd be remarking about it the same way......it does not.
I do expect the new trucks to improve their stamping (and maybe Dearborn is better than KC right now as they've been doing it longer)......but the white one I saw was terrible! I will have to look at others as well.....

Why so testy? Just offering my observations. Some of us simply expect higher quality than others it seems. The troll comment made me chuckle. Thanks, I needed that

Just like your offering your observations/opinion. Im doing the same and I havent seen that issue at all.

However if it makes you feel any better then you win. All the new 2015's are garbage cant believe they even put out that product with all the imperfections.

OK..............I love F 150's and I am getting used to the looks of the 2015. And as the OP in this thread, I was merely making comments about an observation I made on ONE 2015, and politely asking if anyone else had noticed the same thing. Some have, some have not...what's the big deal that you have to exagerate and insult other's observations here? R............E...........L............A........... .....X.............
