Will order sound cancelling ear protection. It is above quality hearing levels for me and I am sure there are others who have complained about the cab noise. It seems to come from the area above the left ear where the cab roof parts meet up outside. I will do another video with the phone held close to it and crank up the radio to try and hide/muffle it out. Since the sound system couldn't do it by itself automatically with this 302A. Will also do a db. sound recording with the meter.
just sell your truck!

If you watch the video the fellow explains all the complexity of the noise and the surgical tubing fix. Obviously Ford probably hasn't not the seal knowledge to take care of it in production when the weather goes low temps although the OEM has stated that soon later in 17 it intends to have a fix.

It's all about numbers and getting people to respond. Same posts over and over.

Just add more pictures of your guitars, what you do and talk with your friends about door seals to stay thread conscious. You have jumped to over 250 posts now. Some just negative BS and you can't deny the undesirable wind noise its filmed/video recorded just turn up the sound to feel like I felt driving 630 miles yesterday in a $44,000 truck with 12,500 miles on it since July 10.

my 2015 Screw is much much quieter on the road than my BMW 3series (2013)

In fact - i have passengers say how surprised they are about how quiet it is in the truck and how little road noise...

regarding the "wind noise" ...you are driving an aerodynamic brick at 70mph against 20mph+ wind gusts... what do you expect?

the notion that it's so loud/distracting that you need noise canceling headsets is beyond laughable... or is it "that time of the month" for you right now ?

maybe sell the truck and get a Chevy/GMC instead or just live with it. Ford is not redoing your entire door seals to knock off 5 decibel...

It's not me, just wait until your truck sets out in 20 degree temps before you confirm. Many people are complaining about the drivability quality of these aluminum trucks

i find it incredibly hard to believe that Ford with their R&D department/ testing teams based in Michigan never drove/tested the truck in 20F (or colder) weather over years of development.

They pump out 60k trucks A MONTH and it has been on the road for more than a year... how many complaints total?

probably more about expectations than anything else...

I have a 2015. This will be my second winter with it. It is the quietest vehicle I have ever owned. If it's not what you're looking for in a truck, get something else.
