All 2018's come with auto stop and start?
I've traded for a new Lariat every year but may have to change brands. I cannot believe this is not an option I can opt out of. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't want this. This may cost Ford some sales.

...or free if you have 10 minutes. All manufacturers are going to this in the near future.

Absolute worst case scenario - put on seat belt, push button. Repeat. It'll get to be habit before you know it.

Doubt it, manufactures are doing this to meet emissions/fuel economy requirements. It's nothing new. Just turn to off or better yet turn on sport mode.
Enabling Auto-Start-Stop
The system automatically enables every time you start your vehicle if:
• You do not press the Auto-Start-Stop button (not illuminated).
• Your vehicle exceeds an initial speed of 3 mph (5 km/h) after you have initially started your vehicle.
• You have stopped your vehicle.
• Your foot is on the brake pedal.
• The driver door is closed.
• There is adequate brake vacuum.
• The interior compartment has cooled or warmed to an acceptable level.
• The front windshield defroster is off.
• You have not turned the steering wheel rapidly or you do not have it at a sharp angle.
• The vehicle is not on a steep road grade.
• The battery is within optimal operating conditions (battery state of charge and temperature in range).
• The engine coolant is at operating temperature.
• Elevation is below about 11,000 ft (3,350 m).
• Ambient temperature is moderate.
• The trailer is not connected.
• If you select Normal, Eco, Snow/Wet or Grass/Gravel/Snow modes. (if equipped).
• You are not in 4H or 4L.
• You have not selected Manual shift mode.
Hill descent control is not active.
• You have not selected Tow haul, Sport, Sand, Mud/Rut or Baja modes. (if equipped).

I wasnt sure about it either when i got my truck. Now i never even notice it unless I get stuck in bumper to bumper traffic and I will push the button. Really dont understand all the hate for it. As said above, it will soon be on all car manufacturers vehicles and it can be dissabled on your Ford in forscan. Good luck disabling in other manufactures vehicals.

I just got it on a 17, haven't even been driving it a week. We don't have traffic jams here, so I can't attest to that, but for regular stop and go light driving? I don't even notice it unless I want to pay attention to it. I can turn it off by pressing a button if I want to. after reading up on these things for any car manufacturer, i'm not worried about.
