can't disclose source which is understandable... but can you detail / confirm that it is oem raptor one modded to fit regular tailgate of normal f150? can you give its dimensions? Thanks!

What is there to confirm? Hbrown posted pictures of the OEM Raptor one installed on his truck.

That is a really clean look since you filled and smoothed the Raptor logo. I would not pay OEM dealer price for that part, but I'll have to keep my eye out for a used one.

Yes it is the 2017 raptor appliqué and it will fit your truck.

Nice looks sharp, can you take pictures up close of the seam, where the Aplique meets the tailgate bed? Curious if there is any gap and how flush it rests.

Agree 100% with Grey Goose......used 3M on my Peterbilt stainless steel parts and never had an issue. Make sure surface is cleaned proper and you will never have a problem.

Are the recessed models just recessed or actually cut out for the emblem? So I'd have to remove mine and tape it to the appliqué?

When I asked the sales rep at AirDesign, it just has a recessed oval to attach the emblem. Most likely you will need modify the emblem since it has pins/clips on the back.

And dont forget the huge hole where the rear oval is when you remove it. Not too big a deal since it will be covered by the applique.

Here is my "Raptor" applique that I ordered from eBay $345 US shipped in 7 days and just installed it today with 3M tape. Love the look and it completes the tailgate IMO (always thought something was missing there lol)
