Hey Joe, Well I stayed on youtube looking at all of them. This one seemed to give the best stats, Maybe one day I will get it dino tested to see. I haven't giving it the true test yet as far as MPG, but it sounds great when I hit the throttle, especially in Sport Mode. It was easy to install, about and hour, took my time, and it looks great.

Just looked that one up, I must say it great looking, so is the price range. I paid a lil over $400 for mine, I feel the best bang for the price. The filter is dry and washable, so I considered that also when buying. I can't make your mind up but that AFE looks good. Just check out the specs and go with your gut and wallet, LOL

I was in the market for a CAI for my '15 until I did the research and realized it does nothing over the stock air intake

Then your reasearch was poor. You can expect around 10rwhp with a after market intake. You can say that’s not much on a 6,000lb vehicle, and you’d be right. But to say it does nothing is dead wrong.

Not trying to start the classic CAI battle but, with the hood closed, isn't it just drawing air from under the leading edge of the hood? I'm sure it's dry there, but overall it's just a shinier air box and a different filter medium, right? The accordion tube is replaced with a smooth tube also. Looks like maybe that panel can be replaced with a transparent one also, so you can see the dirt on the filter, I'll bet. Looks different but not functionally better.
And doesn't it bother you guys to call these "cold air"? It's by definition, a con from the manufacturers. Convincing people that something is, when it it really isn't. I don't think I could give my money to someone that was trying to con me, even if I was buying their part for other reasons.
Just trying to understand the psychology. Kind of scary.
