I think it's ok. I have a buddy who put one on my old 04 Lariat. It was a little over a year old and started fading bad but i don't know what brand it was.

It might hit the hitch if you are towing a trailer.

For anyone wondering, properly applied VHB tape is strong enough to support your bodyweight. That's not necessarily a bad attachment strategy if you use enough to eliminate flex/vibration.

Don't really do much towing at so I'm not worry, but good point for someone that tows a lot and it's interested in getting one

I don't think it looks terrible, but I do not like the the lower edge extends further down than the remaining oe side caps.

That is the one thing that had me not pulling the trigger. Not sure if it looks better black. .... or should be color matched..... but the lines wouldn't work that way either.
