Does anyone have pics of their truck with the air dam removed?

Curious: Why did you remove the Air Dam?

I had to take mine off, as well as the tow hooks, to mount the snow plow...don't notice any difference.

OMG...

Many, many, threads. Some don't like how it looks. Then they debate its purpose. Then they post mpg numbers to prove/disprove their belief. Then they debate if mpg matters for a truck.

I took mine off, looks much better IMO. Many hack the factory piece as another option. To each their own ;-)

Good to know, I was wondering how I would put on a plow, and if I would need to remove or cut it.

Oh I know and have read through the "debates" . I question the numbers and justifications stated but understand to when attaching a snowplow. I still have mine on more to reduce air turbulence underneath the truck . The biggest "killer" of gas mileage is Mass and Speed. It's physics !!
Another big debate is the disabling of the "Stop Start" feature. I find I am more patient doing a Left turn against traffic but in the heat of summer I also disable it.

Do it! Stupid 0.1 MPG's worth of efficiency is not worth ruining the look of the truck. Grab some 5/16" push-pins from Auto Zone to plug the holes and you'll be stylin. Ford put it on there for CAFE.

Are any tools required to remove the front air dam?

I haven’t looked, just curious if it’s a 2 minute job of pulling the pins or if I’d have to break out the socket set and spend 30 minutes loosening stuff.
