ive done mine about year ago because i was offroading and it scrubbed and broke. i dont remember exactly how it was held on, i think it was just a few bolts. then cut the tabs flush. it only took a few minutes. just go take a look at yours. it was very easy to remove.

If you break something taking that off, lock yourself in your basement and have all your meals catered, you're too dangerous to be let loose.
Really though, just crawl under and take a look. If you're like me, it's gonna be harder finding a wrench.

That's funny right there...And true. I checked. Looks so easy a caveman can do it. Someone mentioned that they just remove it for the winter. Either way, trim or remove, looks pretty easy to take off/Put on.

Yes, very simple. If I remember correctly the nuts are 8mm.

I am no gearhead, and had no trouble taking mine off. I tossed it in the corner of the garage. I left the tabs on there so I can re-attach it if I ever get a wild hair.

For those wondering the tabs are only there to speed up assembly line production. They do nothing once the bolts are in.

ill disagree to disagree
I'll bet if you ran the guide to the upper seam, it cuts like butter and shouldn't have any issue.
Saftey gaurds and warnings are only there for people that do not have common sense and to give money to blood sucking lawyer's. With a sound mind and body, I see no risk.

Y'all were right. It looks much better without the air dam. I didn't have a knife sharp enough to cut the tabs off so I just bent them off by hand. I also pulled the metal tabs off the dam so I could reuse the bolts to cover the holes in the plastic lower bumper. I saw 2 more horizontal plastic tabs, but didn't bother with those since they weren't visible anyways.

I don't know if it's the Bull Bar making the air dam on yours look more prominent, but it looks a thousand times better without it..

I just trimmed mine along the contour line. Didn't love it completely gone but like it trimmed down a bit.
