What's described there isn't anything I'm seeing other than the ability to push the brake pedal to the floor at a stop. There's no leak of fluid or anything else they note in that description. But I will be keeping an eye on things.

I would still report it to NHTSA, you may get a call from Ford.

Do not ever get old!! I remember that after changing rotors and pads on a 928 Porsche the same thing happened. The parts were after market. Seemed there was a problem with how the pads were positioned in the calipers. Have you tried putting the original parts back on?
