Default AGM Battery

My auto start stop stoped working. I took it to the dealer and the AGM battery was bad. Am I the only person that has had their battery go bad?

Hi Fx2.7,

Was your dealership able to get this squared away for you? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes they have ordered a battery. It seams AGM batterys aren't in great supply. It hasn't come in yet but I'm sure it will in a day or two. And in the mean time I can still use the truck.
Thanks for asking.

Man I been getting some really good AGM batteres at Batteries Plus.
And with a great warranty.
They always have them in stock.

You also might want to know. You can not use a battery charger that was made for a lead acid charger on a AGM battery.
It has to be a charger that you can use on Both a lead acid and a AGM battery.
If you use a lead acid charger on it you will burn up the AGM battery.

Glad to hear that, Fx2.7. Let me know if I can be of further assistance; you know where to find me.

Unless you have a Lariat or higher trim level or 2.7L with auto stop/start that is the std battery.

Why do you need more than 610 CCA?

if anything a deep cycle battery would do better than just massively high CCA.
I have to look at my OEM battery with the 3.5 and auto stop/start.
