Link to mirrors - also suggest check eBay and Amazon pricing -- seems to vary.

I have looked through this post and I might have overlooked the answer I am looking for, but how are the puddle lights and spot lights in the 1AMRP01947 when compared to the factory lights? My OEM puddle lights are the LEDs and are fairly bright and the spot lights aren't bad (I am hoping for a brighter upgrade but not holding my breath). Thanks for any information!

My Trail Ridge mirrors spot, puddle, and marker lights were plug and play, and they work without issues plus light output is adequate. Do not believe light output is much different than the OEM but never really compared them side by side. I do not think they are any higher intensity than OEM.

If the RCSB currently has mirrors with those functions working, yes.

Anybody notice a difference in mileage when switching to larger mirrors?

OK, so I have decided this is the way to go. Anybody with Ruby Red have pictures of these on the truck standing back a bit. Just curious. I just have to decide if I am going to bother with the power fold or not. For the price difference I don't think they are worth the cost. If I did it I would probably get the ones for factory power fold and then replace my door harnesses, and window switch then use for scan to enable it. How hard is it to remove the top cap in the mirrors after installing it. Thinking about buying the chrome caps and then using them to paint to match the truck. Done it before as it's just plastic and they need to be sanded first, etching primer, then the usual paint steps. If it easy to remove after the fact I can install them first and change out later.

For those that have them for a little while now how are they holding up? Riles1 I know you hav replied to me in other posts so i am guess you like them. Hows the glass quality? I tow a 28ft TT and the K-Source mirrors are ok but don't quite stick out far enough to see the rear quarter of the TT. These stick out far enough and the blind spot mirror would be helpful even though I have BLIS.

I also have the Trail Ridge tow mirrors - 2017 XLT 302A with BLIS - purchased with power fold option so could easily fold for my garage and also parking lots, etc - very happy with the mirrors. I do not see any difference in glass quality from the OEM mirrors I replaced. Like having the BLIS and the blind spot combo. Blind spot is very useful when backing up in close areas so I can see next to both sides of truck and in parking lots also so I can view lines. Caps come loose and once you install think you would have hard time removing without damaging the mounting tabs. I had hard time installing - actually broke tab off on one so used some 2 sided mounting tape to secure the cap. Also like added benefit of the marker lights. Don't have pictures handy but to me look same as OEM towing mirrors.

Thanks BernieT. That's what I wanted to hear. I wouldn't mind the power fold but don't know if I really would use it (my truck would never fit in my garage, lol) and it's nearly a $200 difference in cost when buying from the eBay store and almost $300 when buying from 1aaauo's website. Gotta to love the crazy pricing all over the place, lol. Thanks again for the tip on the caps, that's what ai was thinking as well.
