Default Aftermarket POWER FOLDING Tow Mirrors Coming Soon!

I have been scouring this forum to see if (and how) we can convert our 2015-17 XLT's to have power folding mirrors..... As we all know it is not very easy.

I had a set from 1AAuto on my 2010 Lariat, and loved them....

If you can wait until sometime in April, the manufacturer has told me that they will be releasing a new version for 2015-2017 trucks!

Here's a clip from the email I received today:

I am planning to do the video in early April with 1A to show you guys how to add
1. running light
2. spotlight
3. power fold
for trucks that don’t originally have these features and what we will do is upgrade a XLT with power, heated, turn signal only small mirrors to
a Power, Heated, Turn Signal, Running Light, Spotlight, and Power Fold Tow Mirrors. This Spec. is not available from the dealer as ours will be
an aftermarket upgrade mod.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS! It's been a long time coming - so keep an eye out for them!

If I hear anything about them being released or shipped to 1AAuto I'll also update this thread.

Here's a few pics he sent of the prototypes:

Grossly misstated. It is very doable. Its laborious, but doable.

What manufacturer? 1auto? Do they say if they plan to retain autodim?

An aftermarket package would be nice. Especially if the price is substantially cheaper than OEM.

Fixed, my apologies

Yes, 1A Auto will be the distributor. I do not know about the auto dim.

would definitely be interested in those mirrors, would be even better if they offer a pre-painted mirror cap

Would be nice if they kept the dim, heat, folding, and blinkers like the OEMs.
