While nowhere near Gerrodd beautiful adventure I'll share another on here. Me and my wife decided to take a weekend getaway for my birthday to a little city called Lafayette Louisiana. We used Airbnb and got to stay in a little house in a town called St. Martinville. While there we did the usual shopping and exploring. One exciting thing we got to do was tour the Tabasco factory on Avery Island. The tour was great and we also got to tour the Island and see some of the garden the original founders of Tabasco created while being on the island. Name: IMG_0125.jpg

Here are a few snapshots from the Raptor Assault school I went too a few months back.

A little bit of classroom, then some driving practice, then some light trails and light climbs.

It's not my truck, but a pic of the one I used out there.

It was a blast for the cost of $0.

What engine do you have?
Rear end?
Tires?
Size?
Did you sleep in truck? Tent?
Can you make it up there in a camper?
Is it 4 wheel drive? Did you have to use it?
Option you wish you had?
Thx for thread. I too want to make a big trip. Not sure where yet.

Reminds me of an article I read where a journalist did the drive in a 2016 Miata, with the top down.
