I considered pinstripes when I first got my '18, but could not figure out a good layout so just never did anything else. Tried several different variations, but gave up on it. I like pinstripes but not the ones with the mfgr logo in the middle of it

If by "layout" you mean positioning the striping, the trick I learned from the wrap guy is to lay out where you might want the striping, using 1/4" masking tape.

That shows what curves and obstructions you may encounter. When you have the tape perfect, just follow under it with the striping.

Mine was done by a local that has been in the business of painting stripes and graphics for over forty years.

If you look close on this one, you can see where he signed it.

I like not having the big FX4 decal. Thought it looked kind of gaudy and ostentatious. Not to mention that it looked out of place on my truck after I lowered the rear end to level it out. See the crowd that was jumping off of a cliff was the one raising the front end to level their truck...LOL!

I wanted my truck leveled, but needed to keep the front at the stock ride height, keeping it level with the tow hitch on the motorhome. We tow the F150 behind the motorhome as our toad.

Funny thing is, I got this idea from an '89 Chevy Cavalier that I owned many years ago. The paint was a similar color, but had the double red pinstripe down the side and I loved it! It was unique and I never saw another one like it. My parents bought the car from Budget Rentals in '91 and that car was phenomenal! It lasted me until 1998 until I traded it for my '99 Ram RCSB 4X4 5-Speed Sport. Too bad Chevy's (and Ram's) quality has fallen into a ditch these days.
I had give thought to doing red, but think I will still go for something that blends in more with the motorhome. Maybe a silver, black or blue.

Tried the blue painters tape and left it on the truck for a day or so to see if I would like it, or could live with it. Never grew on me. Tried brightly colored string to get an ideal of how it would look, nope, so I just gave up. LOL.

My truck also has the pin stripes following the window contour, which I think looks better. Mine has 2 pin stripes, one thicker than the other. Here's a pic, if it helps:

Might be a little more than you are thinking, but here is mine. I did tape stripe so I can remove when I get tired of the look or sell it.
