That looks sweet. I have the same bull bar. Just wondering how you mounted it and as some have said is it easy to steal. Was the wiring difficult and just wondering where you ran the switch to.
Curious about this also. The lack of upfitter switches from the factory makes it much harder to wire these up without butchering the interior...
It hooks up directly to the battery and you just need to run the lights the the wireless box, no wires through the firewall or need for switches. You have a wireless module that is placed into one of the cigarette lighter receptacles.
It gives you the option to strobe 12 different settings and a steady on option plus you have 5 settings to dim them. It has up to 5 channel's which equals 5 sets of leds.

Do they have anything with higher amperage? seems like 1.5 amps is awfully low, and you'd be taxing the poor thing with most cube lights. (1.5A x 12v = 18watts max)
Or do you use this as a trigger for a relay box? Either way, about damn time someone did something like this... Gonna pick up one or two to play with

So on that grill the chrome fin in the 3 bars. remove the chrome fin and replace with a light bar behind the grill and in the middle of the 3rd grill bar.

Yes that's it, not sure of what load I'm pulling but I run with on all day at car shows and never had issue's. They do have 1 5 amp 2 3 amp and 2 1.5 amp, I run the bar on the 5 and cubes off the 3 and strips off the 1.5s.
I had these Rigid Duallys on my 2014, so I pulled them off before I traded it in. To install them I ordered an Ecoboost license plate bracket on eBay since the stock unit on the 5.0 is a solid piece. Then I got a 4ft x 1in piece of flat aluminum at Lowes, drilled a 1/2in hole at one end and cut it to length using the existing bolts as a guide. After that it was as easy as drilling 2 more holes for the lights!
Has anyone besides Scharft wired these up with a more hard wired system? Nothing against Scharfts system. I am guessing it is quite good. I may go that route. Not sure if it has the amps I need though. However I am looking for a more rugged system for off roading and weather.
I found this relay system which I sounds quite nice, basically a full auxiliary fuse panel with all the wiring harnesses and everything. Hook it to the battery and then run your lights off it. Has a harness for the switches to come back in. https://buypainless.com/products/57100?
Anyone used anything like this before? Also if so where did you mount it. I am doing some pre planning and they want it to be withing 18 inches of the battery but I am not finding any really good place to mount it. I am looking at running about 5 different lights and putting a switch panel inside. Trying to simplify all the wiring and controls. Any suggestion for hard wiring.
Also Scharft where did you put yours under the hood?
