Default Adding LED Headlights for 2015 F150?

Thinking about adding LED headlights for my 2015 XL 2.7 Eco.

Was looking at two websites:

f150leds.com

http://www.4x4truckleds.com/

Anyone have experience with either company? If so, how do you like the new output? Difficult to install?

I used HIDs for the lows and ribbon heat sink type LED for the highs. I also added Stark 3-sided LEDs with cooling fans for the fog lights. They definitely put out a lot more light than the heat sink type. I've not had the opportunity to use the high beams a lot but can say they for sure put out at least as much light as the halogen bulbs.

I just installed all 6 front lights on my 2016. I purchased from 4x4truckleds, and although I haven't driven on the highway at night, out here in the country, the difference is night and day. I'm sure you've seen the you tube videos on the bulb replacement. It's pretty easy actually. Just a bit intimidating, but use a 1/4 drive on a clutch drill, and take your time. It's a good DIY project. Jump on 4x4s 25% off offer!

I went with 4x4LEDS.com and did the high beams, low beams, factory fogs up front. I also did the reverse lights, cargo lights, and license plate illumination in the rear.

Do it!!!! You will not regret it. You will hear some folks on here complain about the light being too "scattered." I will tell you from first-hand experience that the LEDs are brighter, seem to provide better coverage at night, and definitely are a lot safer. I can see again.

Going to go ahead and pick up the 4x4LEDS headlights (low and high) and the cargo light bulb. The sale they're having as well as the rubber housing pretty much put me their product ahead of the f150leds brand. Looking forward to this DIY project.

For those who did the other lights in the vehicle, how difficult were they to install? Mainly the cargo light and rear taillight bulb is what I'm interested in. Also for those who got the fog lights, did you go with their brand or the Morimoto XB package?

For the reverse lights, did you guys go with the HP11 or the XP80? Not sure if the xp80's will be too bright.

I'll be glad to answer some of your questions. First however, money is an issue, I would go ahead and get the matching fogs too... they really fill in the lighting on the shoulders and in front of your truck. The Morimoto's are more expensive and darker looking on the truck when off. Perhaps you want the darker look, but the 4x4truckleds fog bulb really completes the set up front, and are the easiest one to replace. Adam at 4x4 suggests taking the fog housing out to install the unit. I replaced the driver said removing the housing and the passenger side without. Both ways work for your average contortionist. I was afraid of taking the headlights out, but now I can have one out inside of 15 minutes. Tail lights are 2- 7 or 8mm screws and a tug... they are out. I didn't replace the blinker bulbs because I don't want to have a resister spliced in my wiring. I did however put 4x4's former generation of backup bulbs in and they really help me at the boat launch at night. All of these projects are DIY and you can do them. Just take your time. Msg me if you get stuck.
