Pretty sure you are ok!

Good luck with the install, and let us know how it all works out.

Vinnie, great write up on the wiring. I have had the mod in with a temporary switch for a while now. I finally got the time to get the wire installed to make the factory switch work yesterday and although it was a pain in the *** to run the wire under the carpet, your instructions were spot on.

I'm assuming you have an XLT? If so the rain sensor wont work without wiring being added from the C-pillar conenctor to the BCM and Steering wheel. The Auto High Beams were automatically enabled and I had to go into the IPC and add the check box for it. 720-01-01 xxxF xxxx xxxx

So, If anyone with a 2018 Lariat non tech package wants to add LKA it should only be Forscan changes and of course if you want to add the switch you would need that. I will be adding the switch later now that i know it works.

IPMA SETTINGS
706-01-01 **** *94* **92
PSCM SETTING

So if I have a 2018 502a, I wont need to change the IPMA? Just make the forscan changes and get it calibrated?

Guys

i ve had my windshield replaced in my 2018 Lariat and the factory LKA is not working as before (lost accuracy).
I'm running the latest Forscan beta version (2.3.19) but as pointed out above by another poster I'm only getting the IPMA reset option, not calibration
i read the whole thread and it seems that some people had issues in getting that option in forsan but I haven't found a workaround for the issue.

on the other hand ; how the procedure should be run? Do You have to be already driving above mph and then trigger the calibration process or it can be started with the truck idling and then it will alone calibrate once the truck gets above 40mph?

I would appreciate any help in getting the IPMA calibration menu option in forscan.

thanks!

Default Add LKA to 2018 XLT 302a

I plan to start the adventure on my 2018 XLT 302a; my first concern is a new mirror and windshield. Anyone have some advice or part numbers on those. I’m in San Diego and we have a lot of salvage yards here; so I’m going to keep my eye out.
