That'd be great. I'm not installing the console harness anytime soon so I'm willing to wait for now until you can do this and/or white lariat gets his mirror so we can work on it together.

Last bit of info for tonight. Put a voltmeter on pin 9 and there's roughly 10 V on that pin. Does that seem right?

Do you have any DTCs in IPMA/PSCM? With Ignition ON, Select REVERSE, Wait 15 seconds, Select PARK, Use FORScan and check for any IPMA DTCs.

There's also a PID (LKS_SW_ST) you can monitor in FORScan and test the LKS switch for operation

The button in the mirror actually looks fairly decent. If I were only adding lane assist, I might be tempted to leave it at that as you wouldn't need to change the console wiring harness and the shifter bezel/switches. you would just need the mirror, bodge in the switch and make two changes in forscan. Would save yourself a lot of cash. But I've already gone down the "full install" road and I want it to look factory when I'm done.
The only wire in the mirror is pin 9, it's clearly the switch wire and clearly you got the right one.

We're close....

I'll check those things tonight livinitup.

Do you normally take a wire with voltage and put it to ground to close a switch? I don't remember doing that in any switch I've ever wired.

Ok guys, I dove into this today and tested on my own truck and these are all the module values I believe you need:

PSCM 730-02-01 xxxx x1xx xxxx - 1=LKS enabled, 0=LKS disabled
IPMA 706-01-01 1F8x xxxx xxxx - Lane Departure Warning & Lane Keeping Assist enabled
IPC 720-02-01 xxEx xxxx xxxx Lane Keeping System present in Settings

** After the FORScan changes and correct wiring are done you can calibrate the IPMA Camera in FORScan under wrench icon

Regarding the wiring:
* if you don't run the harness for LKS/APA and just want LKS functionality you could run a wire from mirror C9012 Pin 9 to LKS/APA switch C3466 pin 4. You would also need to run a ground wire from C3466 pin 3 to the IPC ground circuit GD214. You could pickup this ground circuit from any of the places in pic 2 & 3 below. Anyways, this is my understanding of it and hope this helps!

Thanks so much. Do you know if we did run the console harness, how that would affect what our wiring?

Great white seemed to indicate that we was running Pin 9 to ground to activate and deactivate LKA. I am not sure what he was doing there or if the console harness would affect what he was doing. He had in fact run the harness and then did his experimenting. I was showing voltage being passed on Pin 9 of the mirror connector.

No, I haven't looked into the harnesses at all. I thought GreatWhite said in his Lariat that the console harness was all that was needed and where it connected into the main harness the correct wires were already populated in the main harness for it to be functional.

He installed the console harness before he started troubleshooting the switch, but the actual switch was not working to turn it off and on. That is where he realized a wire was not run all the way to the switch and he started doing testing with Pin 9 and his temporary microswitch.

He indicated he was running that Pin to ground to switch the system off and on, but that Pin has power on it so I don't understand what he was doing to make his microswitch work.
