What do you have for Forscan programming? He mentioned 2 areas, but looking at the IPC I found these 2 in the spreadsheet:

720-01-02 xxxx *xxx Collision Warning & Fog Lamp Indicator: 5=Coll Warning enabled & fog lamp indicator enabled, 4=Coll warning enabled & fog lamp indicator disabled
720-01-02 xxxx 1xxx Collision Warning & Cruise Control disabled

And nothing in the PSCM.

I will probably post in the Forscan thread or shoot a private message to Livinitup. I will let you know if he does not chime in here.

I went ahead and installed the new mirror tonight. Took about 5 minutes, but be very careful that you have a firm grip on the mirror. It comes off quick when it goes and there is a lot of wiring around there and defrost wires attached to the windshield.

From reading, connecting Pin 9 to ground turns the system off, so in theory, with that pin pulled it should always be on. Once I get the Forscan changes, I will try it out and test that theory. Then when I get my switch in from Amazon I should be able to turn it off when I want to.

Here is the removal video from earlier in the thread.

So I got the mirror in and the Forscan values set. I don't think it is activating the LKA. I am not sure if this is PIN 9 related or if I need the console harness.

Did you ground that pin? The icon should pop up on the screen when you ground pin 9

Do you have the settings for alert/aid and intensity in the menu?

No, I did not ground it. The way Great White's post read, it was on and grounding it turned it off. Grounding it will be my next step before installing the console harness. I just haven't had a chance to try that yet.

The settings in the IPC are there.

Grounded the pin tonight. Still no icon. Thinking this may require the console harness. I have that, but have not installed yet. Thoughts?

I don't understand what the harness buys you. The only wires for the feature are to ground the trigger. It's worth a shot I guess but I would be looking at the mirror itself and the Forscan programming.

My mirror shows up Friday hopefully then I can work on it too.

The dash icon isn't going to popup until the calibration procedure is carried out successfully either if memory serves me correctly. I could run the procedure again tomorrow and verify this if you need.
