Adding fender flaress to XL's - template?
I've ordered some OEM-style fender flares for my STX. Noting I'm gonna have to do some drilling into the stock fenders. How do y'all do a template for this? Anyone else done it?
Obviously nervous to drill, but at least these fenders aren't steel, so I won't have to worry about rust.

I sometimes use modelling clay.
You put a big enough blob in between the two parts in the rough area where you need to drill. Press the two parts together and voila an impression is left in the clay indicating where you need to drill.
