Good information curious to see who it works out too.

The main reason I bought an XL was vinyl seats and floors. I hate cloth!

I'm curious if this will set any airbag codes... I'm about to spend $800 I don't mind running separate power/ground but don't want to deal with codes.

I got the 2 seats in my shopping cart. The seller is even including 2 extra harnesses to deliver 12v/negative from another source if my floor harness does no power the seats. Any updates on your progress?

Did some research today with my new seats that I have received. The yellow-red cable shown in photo is actual YE-VT to terminal #3 on C311 (driver) & C312 (passenger) which is part of the air bag system.

Per the wiring diagrams I will search for power at C265. The fuses exist in the fuse box so I am assuming I will need to grab the power for both seats at C265 and run it to each seat.

I have attached all relevant wiring diagrams and photo of a 10 way power sear C311 and photo of a XL C312 stock.

More to follow as I dig deeper...

Wow, I am in the minority, I guess. I would have preferred that my XLT with manual seats. I hate how slow the power seats are, especially when I want to lean back and take a quick nap.

Not yet. had Deviated septum surgery last week out June and has prevented from doing much work.

Just tested the seats in the garage with a 12V power supply yesterday. Wanted to make sure all the functions worked before they are installed. Everything checked out alright.

also, have a baby on the way so juggle lots of projects.
