Forscan will not clear the DTC's. The same ones I attached above are still there, and when Forscan trys to read or clear them, a whole ton of systems pop up as error or unavailable in the IPC. I can shut the key off and disconnect forscan, then the truck seems ok (no wrench light, no systems say unavailable) -- it's ONLY freaking out when Forscan tries to read or clear the DTC's.

Any ideas??
What version FORScan are you using and are you using the MX BT adapter?

Here's the newest version I have (FORScanSetup2.3.11.test20170822.exe) that has some fixes for the MX BT adapter and resetting of DTCs: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3j...ew?usp=sharing

Again though....when clearing DTCs wait about 5 seconds after you turn truck off/on before you press the ok button to clear the codes

I am using the OBDLink MX adapter. Never had a problem clearing DTC's until now.

Version is 2.3.11 test20170822

I did the 5 second thing, no effect. I'm inclined to go back to the release version of Forscan and see about clearing DTC's with that. Anything to be aware of going back in version?

I also noticed with the test version that it will fail to load a particular module sometimes until I disconnect and reconnect... then I can load it for programming.

Attached the error when that happens. Again, never seen that until the test version.

Thank you Livnitup!!!

Turns out, it was Forscan.

I backed down to the current public release (2.3.10 beta as of this post) and cleared my DTC's without any issue. The test version would NOT clear the DTC's.

This concludes this mod for me, ACC is working and works great. Totally happy with the system and the price.

A MILLION thank-you's to Livnitup, how would we survive without him???

Another one in the club. Glad you got it all working. I find it to be a great safety tool for freeway driving.

Between ACC and LKA, that's exactly what I'm thinking.

Easy mod. For those that come after me, definitely get the digital angle/level gauge. I zero'd it with another digital level, then leveled the truck at the side steps.

Then it's super easy to get a perfect level on the distance sensor.

I didn't have any issues using the level in the right up, but glad to see you got it working!

Ok. I figured out most of the stuff. Items are in my cart. As for adding switched power, can someone give me reference where to find a pin/cable I can add to the connector so I can power the unit up?

I have all the parts on order to add this to my 2016 Platinum but have one question I'm hoping someone can help with:

Can all the programming/calibration now be done with Forscan or will I still need to have final calibration done at a dealer using the IDS system?

I'm hoping to be able to do this all myself with Forscan, so it would be great if that's an option.

Thanks for all the help in this forum!
