Didnt lucas8888 add 360 oem 360cameras that requires the ipma doesnt it?

Yes lucas8888 pioneered adding the 360 OEM cameras (thanks again mine works great), but that requires a different module - IPMB.

The A module sits behind the rearview mirror and is used for lane departure and pedestrian detection. The B module sits behind the APIM and is used for the 360 camera as well as rear camera and the trailer backup steering feature (forgot the acronym).

So your thinking it's as simple as replacing the rearview mirror module? and then getting that calibrated too.

I didn't see this question in the thread, but I honestly didn't do that great of a job searching through all the pages. Is there any way to use this mod to help lower your insurance? I know some safety features can help lower insurance, but since this isn't a factory option I was wondering if it's still possible. It's not my sole reason for wanting it, just trying to see if I can get any extra benefits.

This would be a good question for your insurance agent. I would think that they go off of the safety features tied to your VIN though, so the added features may not help towards your premium savings.

I'm going to be checking around for insurance rates in the next couple of weeks, so I'll ask this when I talk to the agents & see what I can find out.

Well in my case I dont have the module. I looked at it a year or so ago and the wiring is a bit involved (dont remember specifics) and parts was about 400 dlls. I didnt look beyond that.
