Gonna order the correct one from Tasca this time, BTW anyone know the part # for the little metal clips that hold the front bumper cover on? I can't seem to find them on any break down Just the entire trim piece( # 17 on most breakdowns)

I looked myself, but only saw them included with the trim piece. I am sure you can buy them, but didn't see the part number.

They will typically ship what is the most recent modification of the part. If -B and -F match same make/model/engine then they will ship current version. If -C was unique to 5.0 and you gave 3.5 VIN, they might have called you on it but if you have 3.5 you get whatever appears to be current.

Gotcha. I did all those changes (add temp/dte) a while back so I'll just leave it as is when I install the ACC stuff this weekend.

What I got had no shutter or vent wiring, I assume it was for a 5.0. I have a 3.5 TT.

OK so from my install, I used storkpkp's write up. And noticed a few things that may help others.
1. Check your parts BEFORE you start to tear apart your truck. So you Don't end up with the wiring issue I had.
2. on step 3-4 pull the wiring for the foglights off the bumper(if yours is mounted there)

Foglight wiring on back of bumper, also rear bumper mount Nut

3. on step 5 only remove 1 bolt from each side of bumper and mark mounting location with paint pen(much easier to reinstall)

Marked around nut, then marked bracket

On reinstall just align marks

4. If you don't have a E 5.5 reverse torx a 5/32 six point socket works equally well.

5. I used a digital angle gauge for step 13.

Using digital angle gauge, truck must be level beforehand

Great write up BTW. Thanks

After looking again, it appears that FL3Z-15K867-E is the right part for 3.5 EB TT, and -F is clearly for the 5.0.

I after looking at what I ordered, have fallen into the same boat you did. So I stand corrected... and have to get a part swap as well.

Thanks for the feedback. I will add the notes on the fog lights and the bumper alignment.

I used an E6 torx because I could not find an E 5.5. It worked just fine.

No and FWIW, I spent a significant amount of time looking for them. I ordered a new trim piece as I painted mine to match the truck. I think it was less than $40.

I do have paint left from the Park assist install and it is only like 30 for it so I may go that way as well
