Don't be scared Let's be clear - this addition is possible.

ABS Module - It will brake assist up to 0.3 x acceleration due to gravity.

That's the plan for this week. I will download FORScan and change the hexadecimal code for my individual VIN in place of the As-built VIN that I used.

$557 - The sensor was $344 alone.
This is a great write up,& good job...but sort of in jest..
I have serious issues with these systems,it's bad enough they put them on semi trucks while working now because ppl are either too lazy, careless,or greedy to pull over & sleep, but independent out of the country trucks are still dangerous period....yet now we have radar singles on every freaking vehicle on the road..
I get the safety saving life's etc...
It's all good and well, but brother before we start adding more radar systems to trucks can SOMEONE PLS FIND A WAY FOR OUR RADAR detectors to decipher the different channels specific to these systems,& identify it as friend or well TICKET MASTER. as my radar goes nuts in the middle of nowhere now every time a semi,or someone drives by who is too lazy to operate a car the same way we have for 50plus yrs now..
It's us,& the cops period..lol..
If they weren't on the Ka and above bands it wouldn't be so bad,but some of the systems act so close to a cops radar Signature You really have to take the time to focus & if up don't have a high end radar detector then its basically useless for the avg person..
although I get the controversy in what I've said,& while part of what I wrote is in jest, yes we need system systems, but at some point ppl will either loose or never learn decent driving habits..
PLUS I HATE TICKETS,& haven't gotten one in 20plus yrs thks to my Valentine One..
And don't want to start now driving through every tiny town, that's gotten smart enough to park a running semi on the backside of a hill with a cop car hidden next to it..

I feel that's an irrelevant argument. You want people to Stop using systems because you feel they're being lazy because it interferes with your system that allows you to speed?

Dude needs to ditch the POS V1 and get a better detector. I had an old Bel RX65 and kept going off on certain K frequencies. Got a new one that allows me to block off certain bands, problem solved.

Plus radar detectors are not a license to speed, they're there to protect yourself from overzealous cops who live on meeting ticket quotas.

I get that, I don't have an issue with radar detectors, I just think his argument wasn't a very good one.

Thread hijacking.

Back to our regular scheduled programming.

This is an awesome mod, and worth every penny.

And I seriously doubt there would be enough power transmitted out of one of these units for his old detector to even pick up let alone if it's even on the same band and also the fact that it's going to be directional out the front of the truck in a straight line about what? 2 ft off the ground? Is his detector stuck to his front or rear bumper? Yea ok, and why doesn't the detector in my Wife's explorer pick it up when running ACC. Only about 4 ft from the transmitter/ Receiver in that scenario.
END of Rant, Thanks all

Did you ever get an answer on this? I'm thinking about trying it, but want to be sure I have the right parts first. I've only seen successes posted for 2015 and 2016's.

Placed my order today... so playing the patiently waiting game now... while screaming on the inside, for it to hurry up.

tasca said the harness was valid for a 2017 as well. I checked myself against a platinum w/ 701a package which included the ACC on fordparts and found the cable to be the same as well.

so I ordered parts today... and once they arrive and I get to a weekend i'll let everyone know...
