I asked the FORScan developers to add the radar alignment procedure so that people doing this ACC mod wouldn't need the dealer (or anyone with IDS) to charge them for it. This new test beta of FORScan includes the ACC radar calibration in the wrench icon and I just got done testing this and it worked perfectly so I'm posting the link for everyone. http://forscan.org/download/FORScanS...st20170801.exe
When this calibration is initiated in FORScan you will see "Front Sensor Not Aligned" on the cluster and then you're instructed to drive 5-15 minutes until the message clears and then the alignment is complete. It only took me a few minutes driving 40mph for it to disappear and then ACC functioned normally.
Liv,
I have not updated forscan in a long while. Best procedure to uninstall then reinstall? Go back to forscan forum and get a new key?
The FORScan devs just sent me a test beta with the Cruise Control calibration service procedure included. If anyone here is ready to test this with their ACC mod, pm me and I'll give you this to test out and make sure it's working before I post the link here in the public area.
Does this mean that we migh be able to enable ACC with just Forscan?
If you currently have an XLT it would probably save you a MAJOR headache to stick with a 302A harness - unless you want to also tackle converting your truck to a push button start at the same time....
How difficult is it to add the push button start after the harness is added?
Can it be done through forscan?

I wouldn't say it's impossible, because I've seen what has been accomplished on this forum. It would be very difficult though. There's a handful of antennas around the truck, plus the handles for locking/unlocking. That means more harnesses. I'm not sure if the BCM is different, but it would at least require PATS programming which would have to be done at the dealer. So even if you think you have everything you need, you would still have to tow the vehicle to a dealership for them to try something that may not work.
Not quite as easy as some of the plug and play stuff that's been done. I feel if someone went that route, they might as well just pull a complete harness, BCM and PCM out of a salvage Lariat and hope it comes with keys.
