Have you approached a shiny gas tanker trailer yet in the lane to the right and have it pull off an immediate braking out of the blue? Good times there!
I haven't yet. I've been keeping track of tankers and semi's I'm passing and waiting for it to do something crazy. I feel that maybe the latest hardware/software might have resolved some of those issues.
It has worked well for me when I was approaching stopped traffic with the cruise set. I was traveling 65 on the interstate and crested a hill with some traffic on the other side and along with the warning, it scrubbed quite a bit of speed off before I hit the brake myself. I was probably down to 35 before I took any action. It wasn't a panic brake either, but it was very firm and smooth.
I've used it in low speed traffic, It'll slow down to about 15 before giving you a polite warning chime and disengaging the cruise.
Does anyone know if the build date for the distance sensor follow the build date of the truck(onboard module's) or does the build date follow the 8" ipc cluster?
I ask because my 2015 xlt is 10/19/2015 but the 8" ipc is off a truck from 2/2015.

I asked the FORScan developers to add the radar alignment procedure so that people doing this ACC mod wouldn't need the dealer (or anyone with IDS) to charge them for it. This new test beta of FORScan includes the ACC radar calibration in the wrench icon and I just got done testing this and it worked perfectly so I'm posting the link for everyone. http://forscan.org/download/FORScanS...st20170801.exe
When this calibration is initiated in FORScan you will see "Front Sensor Not Aligned" on the cluster and then you're instructed to drive 5-15 minutes until the message clears and then the alignment is complete. It only took me a few minutes driving 40mph for it to disappear and then ACC functioned normally.

Fantastic news. You are the best man. My parts were ordered last night so I look forward to getting on this.
Would you mind if I added this link to the spreadsheet I created with the parts list and soon to be Forscan codes?

I don't mind but typically when they give me test betas to test, the link will stop working a week or so after they get my response on whether it worked or not and then won't be avail for download from them until the next public release.

Ok, awesome. I will get all that updated this evening I hope.
I am also interested to see if the wiring harness I ordered is correct for my truck. I will make note when it comes in. It is on backorder for about 3 days from Tasca.
This is just all theory as I have not installed it but have been following this thread for awhile now. I would think the harness for the 5.0 is the same for the 3.5L, I would not see a reason why they would be different. I'm wondering if the different part number for the sensor is due to that recall for ACC which was around that time, so you would not go with a old one.
