Adaptive Cruise Control *Added*
Ok, tried several times to trigger the collision warning. I probably was chickening out before actually triggering it. Any one here who added ACC have the collision warning message yet? (Yes it is enabled in the setup screen and at high sensitivity)
Oh yeah. A couple times today in fact. The red LED illuminates, the radio goes quiet, and the audio alert is played. I believe I have sensitivity set on high.
Works like a champ.

Figured...guess I am too chicken to try it out to confirm it works...not like I really need it...since i should be paying attention! Oh well, onto next project, hmm a massage sounds nice!
So I just bought a 2017 f150 Lariat the the 502a package. Are all the install instructions the same as with the 2016 lariats?
The majority of this seems pretty straight forward thanks to all of you pioneers. As far as the wiring harness goes was that a PITA, or fairly simple? Anyone have any helpful pictures of that process?

I am not sure if they are exactly the same.
The wiring harness was not hard at all with the bumper removed - and it is a fairly simple process:
Remove the fog light plugs
Follow the harness from each fog and remove the first of the plastic push pins
Remove the bumper nuts while under the truck
From the front of the truck, carefully pry off the trim
Remove the 4 bumper nuts
As you pull the bumper off, there are a couple more plastic push pins/ plugs to remove (one is in the middle just behind the top of the bumper.)
Once the bumper is pulled away, the harness is easily accessible. There is one plug that you have to access from the engine compartment on top, right next to the passenger light.
hope that helps and I hope that the 17 has not changed too much!

You don't have the harness connection wires to plug in the harness for the distance sensor. Someone did post the pins if you wanted to wire your own but as far as I know no one has tried this yet.
Ah I figured it probably wouldn't be that easy. I'll have to re read and see if I can find the pin out diagram. I noticed I don't have the connection for the HUD either, not sure if that is a separate harness then the distance sensor harness.
