It is a simple, but common mistake. Sometimes I think is is just best practise to always have FORScan scan for a new profile instead of using and existing profile. It doesn't save much time.

Greetings!

Was hoping to get some advice from the forum - I have a early 2018MY Raptor with the 802a package, but no Tech Package. My objective is to get ACC working, without lane keep, stop-go etc. Using the following guide (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...E/edit?tab=t.0) and the following equipment:
  • Switch: FL3Z-9C888-BA
  • Module: FL3Z-9E731-D
I have been successful in getting everything installed, programming the CCM with the VIN and modifications to the CCM, IPC, SCCM, ABS, and BCM using values identified the in document, performed the sensor alignment. With all of that being complete, I am still receiving a U2100 - Initial Configuration Not Complete DTC. Reading the PID data for all elements associated with the CCM - calibration is showing as complete, and all the values seem normal. Any advice from the forum would be greatly appreciated!

When connecting FORScan, try not using the old profile and let FORScan scan for all the modules. When programming the module, do you have a charger connected to the battery? That is good practise. Try rewriting the PIDs one line at a time, then perform the reboot.

Thanks for taking the time to reply - based upon the experience of others on the thread I made sure to not use any profile when loading FORScan along with having a fully charged battery with trickle charger connected when doing any programming. Unlike some of the previous posts, I am able to see, and write to the CCM module successfully.

The CCM module I purchased was from ebay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/396422454132) and im wondering if that could be the culprit. When loading FORScan it is detecting the module as:
C-CM - Cruise-Control Module
Part number: FK7T-9G768-AD
Calibration level: FK7T-9G768-AD
Strategy : FL3T-14D049-AE
Calibration: FL3T-14D050-AF

It's been a while but my '17 F150XLT should be similar. Did you complete calibration using FORScan (clear DTC, drive ~20miles to calibrate CCM)? Not sure where it is in the thread but before #2047. My wife doive while I operated the computer. All fell in place afterward and it works flawlessly.

I hate adaptive cruise control. I don't have it on my F150 thank god. We have it on my wife's Rav4. I set the cruise to 70, next thing I know I am going 50. I would rather decide for myself, when to hit the brakes, or change to the left lane.

Yes - I ran the CCM calibration service procedure on a ~30 min drive. After which the PID showed the C-CM_CALIB state of Not Calibrating, with the Alignment status of Ok. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Was it used? Could very well be the culprit. The first one I installed was used and I also had problems. Googled the module and found a Dorhman made one, installed and it works perfectly for ~3yrs.

Did you delete the old profile and rebuild the profile?
